Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking a Site Agent in Pretoria. Are you a hands-on, experienced Site Agent ready to take the lead on large-scale construction projects? A well-established construction company is looking for skilled professionals to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Budget Oversight:
-
Develop and implement detailed work plans, including scope, resource needs, timelines, and deliverables.

Track production progress and project spend against forecasts, making adjustments as needed to stay on budget and on schedule.

Prepare and submit consistent weekly and monthly project progress and cost reports.
Day-to-Day Site Operations:
-
Ensure all activities align with project standards and identify opportunities to optimize site processes.
-
Supervise material usage, production output, and all required site documentation (e.g., daily production records).
-
Continuously evaluate site workflows to drive improvements in productivity and efficiency.
Site Administration & Resource Coordination:
-
Maintain accurate records, including rework logs, risk assessments, and procedural documentation.
-
Manage procurement, inventory, and usage of materials, equipment, and labour on site.
-
Handle payment certificate submissions and ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
Health, Safety & Legal Compliance:
-
Enforce site safety protocols, including the use of PPE, safety documentation, and regular inspections.

Address safety incidents swiftly and ensure all practices meet regulatory and internal safety requirements.
Quality Control & Assurance:
-
Ensure alignment between planned work, approved methods, and available resources.

Implement quality assurance measures, including regular checks and proper documentation distribution.
Professional Conduct & Communication:

Represent the company’s values and maintain a professional image on-site.
-
Foster clear communication among teams, encourage feedback, and ensure visibility of management and leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Agent in the civil or building construction sector

Relevant qualification in construction management or civil engineering (advantageous)
-
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to manage multiple site operations efficiently

Willingness to travel and work on remote projects as required
