Hire Resolves client is seeking a Planning and Procurement Manager with both operational and strategic management experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies for sourcing, demand and supply planning, inventory management, S&OP, and customs, with a strong focus on enhancing organizational profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a multinational manufacturing environment and possess exceptional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Oversee demand and supply planning to ensure seamless operations and inventory availability.
- Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and facilitate Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade policies for import/export activities.
- Foster relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure competitive terms.
- Analyze procurement and planning data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement and planning strategies with company goals.
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement and planning team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in planning and procurement management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
- A degree or qualification in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain is essential.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, demand and supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement and Planning, with at least 6 years in a management role.
