Main purpose of the position:
Increase the profitability of the OVK Group and limit risks through the effective planning and
structuring of lucerne transactions.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12;
Degree or Diploma in Marketing an advantage;
1-2 years’ previous experience within a lucerne and marketing environment;
Valid drivers license.
Skills:
Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
Computer literate (MS Office);
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Excellent marketing skills;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Must be able to cope under pressure;
Excellent conflict handling skills;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Marketing and administration of lucerne and alternative crops against set budget and objectives;
Negotiate prices and achieve margin targets;
Innovative marketing and marketing development.
