Description:
Required experience and qualifications:10 Years or more experience in ERP Project Management and ERP solution experience A degree in project management (NQF Level 7) and a PMP or Prince2 certification. Proof of successful implementation of minimum 6 ERP projects in the public sector.
Key responsibilities:
Define project goals, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Create detailed project plans and schedules. Liaise with internal teams, executives, vendors, and consultants. Ensure stakeholder requirements are gathered, aligned, and managed. Lead cross-functional project teams (IT, Finance, HR, Operations, etc.). Assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve team issues. Create and manage the project budget. Allocate resources efficiently and track expense Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans. Resolve issues quickly to keep the project on track. Manage relationships with ERP vendors (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Support users through training, documentation, and transition activities. Manage go-live activities. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership. Track project performance against KPIs and milestones
