Head of Insurance: A prominent institution in the financial sector is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking leader to take on the role of Head of Insurance.

This pivotal role involves overseeing the supervision of large, complex financial groups and conglomerates—including systemically important financial institutions (SIFIs)—with a focus on promoting financial stability, enhancing governance, and ensuring alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic direction and supervision of financial conglomerates and SIFIs.
• Develop and implement effective supervisory frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and manage key risks.
• Oversee risk assessments, supervisory practices, and performance metrics.
• Build and lead a high-performing team while driving a culture of accountability and development.

Key Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in financial services, with a strong background in insurance.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within risk, governance, or financial oversight.
• Expertise in risk-based supervision, corporate governance, and financial sector frameworks .
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
