Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of their restaurant’s dining experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage service, managing staff, and maintaining efficient operations. You will work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure excellent guest satisfaction and profitability, while upholding the restaurant’s reputation for quality. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Develop and maintain menus in collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring offerings meet customer preferences and industry trends.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, costs, and performance to the restaurant owner or management.
- Implement promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory control, budgeting, and cost management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
