Our client, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for a Payment Network Relationship Manager to join their growing team. This role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with payment networks to enhance service delivery, optimize transaction performance, and support business growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong relationship management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. They will take ownership of a portfolio of payment networks, ensuring effective servicing, retention, and expansion while driving innovation and growth opportunities.
Role responsibilities:
Manage and grow relationships with retail and digital payment networks to increase transaction volumes. Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with payment networks. Support the onboarding of new payment networks, working closely with Operations, Finance, and IT. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of new and existing solutions in partnership with payment networks. Analyse transaction data to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Resolve queries and technical requirements, ensuring smooth operations. Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to refine business strategies. Be present at industry events, expos, and conferences to strengthen partnerships. Work with the marketing team to enhance visibility and engagement with payment networks.Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification. 5-8 years’ experience in customer service, sales, technical solutions, or marketing within the payments industry. Experience in business development and scaling initiatives. Strong understanding of the digital environment and product development lifecycle. Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools. Fluent in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficial. Valid driver's license and the ability to travel. Clear criminal, fraud and credit record
