Key Responsibilities: Contract Management: Administer and manage all project contracts, including main and subcontractor agreements. Ensure contractual compliance with terms and conditions, timelines, and performance obligations. Handle claims, variations, extensions of time, and dispute resolution. Procurement & Tendering: Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and bid submissions. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors. Commercial Oversight: Monitor project budgets and control costs. Certify progress payments and manage payment processes. Analyze and report on project financial performance, risks, and cost trends. Project Coordination: Liaise with engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure project objectives align with contractual commitments. Ensure the proper implementation of contract deliverables related to water pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and associated infrastructure. Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure adherence to local water authority standards, environmental regulations, and health & safety protocols. Review and approve method statements and quality documentation as per contract. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum of 6 years' experience in civil infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in a contract management role. Proven experience in water reticulation or utilities infrastructure is essential. Sound knowledge of contract law Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven computer skills Professional certification is advantageous.Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines under pressure. Collaborative mindset with stakeholder management skills. Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
