We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic with strong expertise in generator maintenance and repairs to join our client’s growing team. - Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and generator systems
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on-site and in the workshop
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults
- Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Occasionally travel to client sites (travel allowance provided where applicable)
Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent) – Essential
- Proven experience working with diesel generators (all sizes and brands)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical and electrical)
- Valid driver’s licence (HR desirable)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
