Description:
Our client a top Solar installer in South Africa is looking to recruit a Sales Representative who is hard working and driven to grow and maintain business.
Candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential, commercial, or industrial customers.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through networking, marketing campaigns, referrals, and outreach.
· Sales Presentations: Cond uct presentations to explain the benefits of solar energy, how systems work, and the financial savings potential.
· Assessing Customer Needs: Perform site assessments or consultations to understand a customer’s energy needs and determine the best solar solution.
· Providing Quotes and Proposals: Create and present detailed quotes, pricing, and system designs for customers based on their energy needs.
· Closing Sales: Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close deals to sell solar systems.
· Customer Education: Educate customers about available financing options, government incentives, and rebates related to solar energy.
· Maintaining Relationships: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
· Collaboration with Installation Teams: Work closely with installation and technical teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to installation.
· Tracking Sales Metrics: Monitor sales progress, report performance, and meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
· Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in government policies or incentives.
Minimum Requirements
· Matric
· At least 5 years experience with external sales
· Previous solid Sales Track Record
· Solar experience will be an added advantage but not a must have
· Valid Drivers Licence
