Job Responsibilities:
Assist Ophthalmologists during patient examinations and procedures Perform preliminary diagnostic testing, including visual acuity, intraocular pressure (IOP) measurements, and retinal imaging Prepare patients for eye exams by obtaining medical history and explaining procedures Administer eye drops and other treatments Maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on eye care, treatments, and post-procedure instructions Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipmentQualifications:
Previous experience in an ophthalmic or medical assistant role is preferred Strong knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Certification as an Ophthalmic Assistant (OA Level 1 and/or 2 is a plus, but not required)Why Join Us?
