Minimum requirements:Trade Test - Plumbing or Electrical Wiremans License / PIRB Registration Relevant Degree Minimum 7 years in a site management or similar construction environment role Responsibilities:
Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project timelines by managing resources, including staff, materials, and subcontractors. Oversee material procurement and inventory control. Coordinate with main contractors, engineers, architects, and consultants to resolve project challenges. Assist with tender compilation and understand contract agreements such as JBCC and NEC. Develop procurement strategies and manage subcontractor programs. Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and risk compliance. Ensure quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to legal standards (ISO 9001, OHS Act, SANS). Manage industrial relations, staff training, and development to maximize productivity. Lead contract reporting, including financial and progress updates. Ensure proper contractual close-out documentation. Utilize CCS, BuildSmart, MS Office, and MS Projects for project planning and execution.
