Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for property management? We're seeking a dynamic, and experienced Properties & Facilities Lead to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations across our portfolio.

The company is committed to tackling impactful challenges, with a focus on growing its residential property portfolio, establishing and protecting conservation and heritage spaces in the Durbanville area, and redefining sustainable urban development.

The Property and Facilities Lead is a hands-on operational leader responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of company properties and facilities. This role supervises the Property and Facilities Coordinator and ensures smooth operations, tenant satisfaction, and efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do:
  • Supervise a team of coordinators, maintenance staff, and cleaners
  • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of properties to ensure optimal condition
  • Manage tenant requests efficiently, ensuring prompt resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to enhance operational efficiency
What You’ll Bring:
  • Strong technical understanding of building systems and maintenance processes

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • A commitment to providing outstanding service and tenant satisfaction
  • Experience in property and facilities management (advantageous)
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in property management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in property maintenance or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and tools.
