Description:
What You’ll Do
Stock and Replenishment:
· Ensure that service areas are fully stocked throughout operations, replenishing supplies such as equipment, glassware, utensils, and other necessary items.
· Monitor stock levels and communicate with the supervisor or manager if items need to be reordered.
· Ensure backup stock is readily available and stored appropriately for quick access.
Area Maintenance:
· Maintain a clean and organised service area, including storage rooms and preparation areas.
· Collect and clean used items such as glassware, utensils, and equipment, ensuring that clean stock is always available.
· Clean spills, wipe down surfaces, and ensure that the area is always presentable and safe for staff and guests.
Supporting Service Operations:
· Assist service staff by delivering items or supplies to different areas during operations.
· Help manage the flow of service by quickly addressing any shortages or needs communicated by staff.
· Assist with setting up and closing down areas, including preparing for service and cleaning up after shifts.
Running Errands and Assisting with Tasks:
· Assist with running errands as required, such as fetching supplies or fulfilling immediate requests from management or staff.
· Support the team by handling various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of operations. What You’ll Need
Grade 10 (Required). Experience in the Hotel environment (Preferred). Experience as a Sculler in a high-volume setting (Required).What We’re Looking For
