Key Performance Areas / Main Outputs
Strategy:

Ensure the government affairs strategy aligns with the overall business strategy.

Analyse and define the competitive landscape to identify potential threats and opportunities.

Keep track of political, economic, and social factors that might impact the business.
-
Work closely with legal, compliance, public relations, and marketing teams to ensure strategy alignment.
-
Implement the Sales Operating Model by strengthening long-term relationships in the Public Sector.
Government Affairs:
-
Develop strong relationships with government customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
-
Build and maintain relationships with government officials, industry associations, and stakeholders.
-
Monitor government policies, budgets, and priorities to identify new opportunities.
-
Support public affairs initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
-
Represent the company at industry events and government meetings.
-
Gather feedback from government clients to refine products/services.
-
Enhance brand visibility and strategic networking with key government stakeholders.
-
Partner with industry associations for collective advocacy efforts.
-
Set clear objectives for government affairs initiatives, track progress, and evaluate impact.

Identify and mitigate operational risks affecting the business.

Ensure all communications and activities comply with legal and ethical standards.

Advocate for and influence key government policies affecting the industry.
