Job Summary:
The Marketing Vendor Manager is responsible for overseeing relationships with external marketing vendors, ensuring high-quality service, cost efficiency, and alignment with company goals. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing vendor performance, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management & Sourcing:
Identify, evaluate, and select marketing vendors, agencies, and third-party service providers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to maximize ROI.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive performance and innovation.
Performance & Compliance Monitoring:
Monitor vendor performance based on KPIs, deliverables, and deadlines.
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with agreements.
Address and resolve vendor issues, ensuring consistent quality and service.
Budgeting & Cost Optimization:
Work with finance and procurement teams to manage vendor budgets.
Track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize vendor expenses.
Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
Marketing Strategy & Execution Support:
Collaborate with marketing teams to align vendor services with campaign objectives.
Support the execution of digital, print, events, and other marketing initiatives.
Ensure vendors provide creative, media buying, content, and other marketing services effectively.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
Develop and implement best practices for vendor selection and management.
Maintain vendor databases, contracts, and performance reports.
Provide data-driven insights to improve vendor strategies and marketing outcomes.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Procurement, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or marketing operations.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and vendor performance tracking.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
Must have experience in Add words, Socials and SEO.
Regular site visits of Agency.

English and Afrikaans speaking
Preferred:
Experience working with marketing agencies, media vendors, or SaaS marketing tools.
Knowledge of digital marketing trends, analytics, and procurement strategies.
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or marketing automation platforms.
