Description:
Recording and summarizing financial transactions: This includes accurately posting and processing journal entries for all business transactions
Maintaining general ledger accounts: Keeping the general ledger organized and up-to-date
Tracking and monitoring accounts receivable and payable: Ensuring accurate tracking of money owed to and by the company
Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements: Contributing to the creation of key financial documents
Preparing financial reports and budgets: Helping to create reports and budgets for various purposes
Reconciling bank statements: Comparing bank statements with general ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies
Performing account reconciliations: Verifying that accounts are accurate and up-to-date
Issuing and preparing invoices: Creating and managing invoices for customers
Processing invoices: Ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and on time
Assisting with payroll records: Helping with the processing of payroll
Reviewing expenses: Reviewing expenses to ensure they are accurate and compliant with company policies
Supporting senior accountants: Providing support to senior accountants on various tasks
Adhering to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines: Ensuring that all accounting practices comply with relevant regulations and company policies
