The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring an exceptional dining experience in line with 5-star standards. This role includes managing staff, maintaining high service levels, optimizing revenue, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities: Operational ManagementOversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service.Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance.Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH).Monitor inventory, stock levels, and equipment maintenance. Customer Experience & Service ExcellenceEnsure a world-class dining experience, meeting 5-star service expectations.Address customer feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.Maintain strong guest relations, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.Oversee reservations and table allocations to optimize service. Staff Management & TrainingRecruit, train, and mentor restaurant staff.Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high morale. Financial & Sales PerformanceMonitor and manage budgets, costs, and restaurant profitability.Implement strategies to increase revenue (e.g., promotions, upselling, events).Control food and beverage costs while maintaining quality standards.Analyze sales reports and adjust operations accordingly. Compliance & Health RegulationsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations.Maintain liquor license regulations and adherence to legal requirements.Oversee HACCP standards and hygiene audits.- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a 5-star setting.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and wine pairing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with POS systems, reservations software, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
