My client is currently seeking a Performance Marketer to join their team in Johannesburg
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Paid Media Management:
Plan, execute, and optimize PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and other paid platforms. Manage retargeting and prospecting campaigns to improve conversion rates. Allocate and optimize ad spend based on performance insights.
Analytics & Performance Tracking:
Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, CPC, ROAS, and LTV. Set up and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking tools. Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience segments.
SEO & CRO Optimization:
Work with content and web teams to improve SEO rankings and organic traffic growth. Optimize landing pages for better conversion rates (CRO - Conversion Rate Optimization).
Marketing Automation & CRM:
Integrate performance marketing efforts with CRM for lead scoring and segmentation. Manage email marketing campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.
Collaboration & Strategy Development:
Collaborate closely with the Graphic Designer to create high-converting ad creatives. Work closely with designers, copywriters, and developers to ensure cohesive marketing campaigns. Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and new advertising technologies. Develop and execute growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Design Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with a Graphic Designer to align creative concepts with marketing strategies.Content Management: Experience in managing and optimizing content for digital campaigns, including social media and email marketing. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and social media insights. Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies. Knowledge of Tech Tools: Familiarity with the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, including CRM systems and marketing automation platforms. People Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and copywriters.
