Job Title: Logistics & Distribution Coordinator
Our client, based in Hammarsdale, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Distribution Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience in logistics and distribution coordination.
Requirements:
Experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination.
Strong communication and organizational skills to manage drivers, distributors, and deliveries.
Ability to monitor stock levels and coordinate warehouse transfers.
Proficiency in sales order processing, DC bookings, and distributor coordination.
Experience with transport arrangements, including courier and CHEP pallet bookings.
Administrative skills, including POD filing, invoicing, and credit note processing.
Problem-solving abilities to handle customer complaints and liaise with management.
Responsibilities:
Plan routes and load sheets to ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate with drivers and distributors to manage delivery schedules.
Follow up on deliveries to confirm dispatch and receipt.
Monitor stock levels and liaise with the Operations Manager on potential stock-outs.
Coordinate DC and distributor orders and attend weekly planning meetings.
Arrange transport for raw material collection and deliveries.
Process sales order relief and assist with production planning.
Manage warehouse stock transfers and ensure timely procurement of materials.
