Our client in Witbank is seeking an experienced Senior ICT Solutions Engineer to join their team. An ICT Solutions Engineer translates business needs into technical solutions, acting as a bridge between sales and technical teams, designing, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure and software to meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Understanding Client Needs: Identifying and analyzing business problems and requirements to determine the best technical solutions.

Solution Design: Developing and designing IT solutions, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure, to meet specific business needs.

Implementation and Support: Overseeing the implementation of solutions, providing technical support, and ensuring ongoing functionality and performance.

Technical Expertise: Possessing a strong understanding of IT technologies, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.

Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, collaborating with sales teams, and working with other IT professionals.

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues and problems related to IT systems and solutions.

Documentation: Creating and maintaining accurate documentation of IT systems and solutions.

Training: Providing training to end-users on new IT systems and solutions.

- Cyber Security Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Ict Industry Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Solution Engineer Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Matric Certification.
- Must have Mathematics, English and Computer Science as subjects.
- A+ CompTIA / N+ CompTIA International Certificate.
- Microsoft 365 Certified (Desktop Environment).
- VoIP/ Relevant Qualifications (Yeastar).
- IP Camera/ Relevant Qualifications (Hikvision).
- Proficient in Cyber Security.
- MTCNA.
- 3-5 Years Field Experience (Relevant ICT experience).
- Product Specific Wireless Qualifications (Ubiquiti/Mikrotik).
- Excellent Communication Skills (Team, Customers & Suppliers).
- Excellent Time management and prioritization skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Provide daily feedback to team and customers.
- Leadership skills.
Minimum Requirements:
