Job Overview:
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Recruitment Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg and support our recruitment operations in Scotland and across the UK . The role involves sourcing and placing candidates into apprenticeship positions across IT, marketing, administration, and data analytics roles.
The ideal candidate will have a confident phone manner, strong organisational skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Advertise vacancies across multiple platforms to attract top talent
🔹 Screen and shortlist CVs of apprenticeship seekers
🔹 Write compelling job descriptions for various roles
🔹 Conduct pre-interviews via phone or video call to assess candidate suitability
🔹 Liaise with clients to arrange interviews and ensure smooth hiring processes
🔹 Coordinate with candidates , ensuring they are well-prepared and attend interviews
🔹 Update and maintain the CRM with candidate and client information
🔹 Engage with local authorities & careers officers to source potential candidates
🔹 Utilise LinkedIn to build connections with UK-based organisations and identify new job opportunities
