Financial Manager

Description:

The successful applicant will have overarching responsibilities over all aspects of the business (admin, sales and marketing, HR, production, and warehousing and distribution) and be responsible for the maintenance of internal controls to enable and ensure the accurate accounting for stock, production, cash flow.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, compile, and analyse management accounts Prepare the company for audit. Have overarching control over inventory, debtors and creditors and their aging. Co-ordinate and prepare the budgets for the new financial year Monitor and report on variances between actual and budget. Monitor and ensure that the business trades responsibly and profitably. This will require frequent liaison with customers at a senior or executive level. The company uses SAGE X3 as its ERP and employs a bill of material and standard costing system as the base line measurement of costing and productivity measurement. The successful applicant will also be responsible for the efficient management of the admin department (finance and HR). CA qualified with at least 10 years post articles experience Excellent communicator Experience in Manufacturing is highly advantageous Experience with Sage x3 is highly advantageous
