Qualifications:
Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent Diploma or Degree Food Tech/ Biotech/ Food & Nutrition or Analytical Chemistry 1-2 years relevant experience Must have a clear criminal record
Role Competencies:
FMCG, Manufacturing sector experience is essential. Proven ability to manage, maintain and deliver against Customer requirements. Analytical skills Communications skill Conflict Management Report Writing skills
Skills and Attributes:
Language Skills: Ability to speak and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with Management and co-workers. Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions such as safety. Rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, Ability to prepare reports and complete forms. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio and percentage. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out. Basic computer proficiency. Accuracy and attention to detail. Effective problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Production Delays Product Reworks Accuracy of work Customer service levels and reduction of customer complaint's Position Responsibilities:
Accurate preparation of ingredients for blending into the oil following established recipes and methods. Confirm all ingredients, ratios and weights are correct. Ensure that the blending process is carried out accurately according to defined procedures. Ensure minimal product defeats and downtime due to blending operations. Take blended oil samples to lab for testing. Clean blending and material systems for product changes and shutdowns. Keep blending room and blending tanks area clean. Communicate any important information to the Production Manager, Supervisors and the QA Analyst. Is consistently on time and at work. Required to work overtime when requested to do so. Overtime may be required when needed to finish a production run, to cover for other employees absent from work, meet customer expectations, etc. Keep and maintain ingredient blending records.
