Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, as allocated through the Helpdesk or Operations Manager.
The role incumbent ensures a safe working environment while carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by the Operations Manager are adhered to according to set policies and standards
Duties:
Ensures that all maintenance tasks are carried out on a daily base according to faults logged
· Performs all repairs and maintenance (painting, cleaning, waterproofing, irrigation, replacement of globes & tubes, small plumbing work, door & lock repairs, cleaning of gutters and full bores, etc.) as requested by the Operations Manager. Identify maintenance requirement whilst doing inspections on site.
· Observes entire property daily and reports leaks, breakages and non-functioning parts to the Operations Manager.
· Responds to complaints received from any tenant and advise the Operations Manager.
Completed checklists on a daily basis.
Maintain high level of service delivery to internal and external clients through effective communication channels
· Ensures availability to Property Management team as well as existing and new tenants.
· Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders both internal (property management) and external (tenants, service providers)
Night and Weekend duties
- Responsible for night and weekend duties as agreed with General Manager and Operations Manager.
Requirements:
