Job Purpose

The Wills Sales Consultant is responsible for engaging with clients to promote and sell BetterSure’s wills services. This role involves conducting client consultations, providing expert advice, and achieving individual sales targets while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The consultant plays a key role in helping clients plan their estates effectively while contributing to BetterSure’s overall growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Consultations and Sales:

    • Engage with clients to understand their estate planning needs and provide tailored solutions.

    • Promote and sell BetterSure’s wills services, achieving individual sales targets.

    • Conduct telephonic or in-person consultations to explain the benefits of wills and estate planning.

    • Generate and present accurate quotes to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and trust.

    • Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

  • Compliance and Legal Documentation:

    • Ensure all sales activities and documentation comply with legal and regulatory standards.

    • Collaborate with legal partners to finalize and deliver wills to clients.

    • Ensure that all client information and documents are handled with confidentiality and integrity.

  • Performance and Reporting:

    • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.

    • Track and report on personal sales performance, providing feedback to the Sales Manager.

    • Participate in daily buzz sessions and team meetings to share best practices and insights.

  • Professional Development:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, estate planning regulations, and best practices.

    • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

Requirements:

  • Wills Sales Consultant: 1 to 2 years
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role.

  • Experience in will services, estate planning, or the financial services industry is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

  • Results-driven with excellent negotiation and closing skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Matric Certification.

  • RE5 and FAIS qualifications (e.g., NQF5 Wealth Management) required.

  • Relevant certifications in estate planning or financial planning will be advantageous.

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Law, or a related field is advantageous.

  • Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (longer hours may be required).

  • Availability to work Saturdays (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) upon special request.

  • At least one late shift per week from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role.

  • Experience in will services, estate planning, or the financial services industry is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
