Job Purpose
This role focuses on leveraging WhatsApp and other digital platforms to revolutionize the insurance sales process. The WhatsApp Insurance Sales Consultant will drive customer engagement and sales through innovative digital strategies, making insurance solutions more accessible and interactive.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about utilizing digital tools, artificial intelligence, and customer-centric technology to enhance the sales journey. The consultant will play a key role in shaping the future of digital insurance sales by integrating automation and personalization into the client experience.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital sales strategy using WhatsApp to engage potential and existing customers.

Manage the end-to-end customer sales journey on WhatsApp, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience from initial contact to closing sales.

Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, analyze data, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Initiate and maintain telephonic contact with clients when necessary to drive conversions.

Identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency within the sales team.

Implement enhancements to streamline workflows and optimize sales efficiency.

Learn and utilize AI-driven technology and tools to support sales activities and improve client engagement.
Requirements:

Prior experience in short-term and/or long-term insurance sales, preferably in a call center environment.

Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer engagement strategies, and performance-driven sales execution.

Experience in managing and leading teams, including motivating, coaching, and mentoring sales agents.

Ability to plan, execute, and optimize digital sales campaigns.

Proficiency in monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, including tracking KPIs and making data-driven decisions.

Familiarity with CRM systems for managing customer interactions and tracking leads.

Experience in training and developing sales teams.

Understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical standards in insurance or bond origination.

Grade 12 (Matric) required.

A minimum of a National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

At least two years of experience in digital sales, marketing, or a related area, with a proven track record in using technology to drive sales is advantageous.

Strong proficiency in digital communication platforms, particularly WhatsApp.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with extended hours as required.

May be required to work Saturdays (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) upon special request.

Required to work at least four days per week in the Pretoria office.

At least one late shift per week (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Experience
