Job Purpose:


This role focuses on selling tailored insurance solutions to clients within the home-buying market. The Sales Consultant will leverage strategic industry affiliations to engage potential customers, providing expert guidance and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients who have recently purchased properties.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients by handling inquiries and follow-ups.

  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to address client questions and objections.

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs consistently.

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to refine strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

  • Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training and professional development.

  • Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance sales processes and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Insurance Sales: 1 to 2 years
  • Proven experience in short-term and/or long-term insurance sales within a call center environment.

  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, target-driven setting.

  • Expertise in outbound sales, cold calling, and objection handling.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Enthusiastic about leveraging technology to enhance sales and customer experience.

  • Grade 12 (Matric) required; tertiary education is an advantage.

  • RE5 and FAIS qualifications are required if the candidate has been registered as a short-term or long-term advised selling representative for more than two years.

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with extended hours as needed.

  • Occasional Saturday shifts (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) upon request.

  • Required to work at least four days per week in the Pretoria office.

  • At least one late shift per week (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

Experience

  • Proven experience in short-term and/or long-term insurance sales within a call center environment.

  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, target-driven setting.

  • Expertise in outbound sales, cold calling, and objection handling.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.

Educational Requirements

Working Conditions

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with extended hours as needed.
