Job Purpose
This role focuses on generating qualified leads and securing appointments for sales consultants by engaging potential clients through high-volume outbound calls. The Lead Generation Agent will introduce insurance offerings to prospective customers, primarily targeting individuals who have recently purchased properties.
Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, resilience, and the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone. The position is well-suited for highly motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced, target-driven call center environment.
Key Responsibilities

Make high-volume outbound calls daily to prospective clients.

Schedule appointments for sales consultants by effectively communicating product benefits.

Handle objections professionally and overcome barriers to appointment setting.

Utilize the CRM system to accurately document interactions and update lead details.

Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs related to calls, lead qualification, and appointments.

Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless handover of leads.

Stay informed on company insurance offerings, promotions, and industry trends to refine sales approaches.
Requirements:

Experience in short-term and/or long-term insurance sales within a call center environment is advantageous.

Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends when required.

Grade 12 (Matric) required; tertiary education is an advantage.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with extended hours as needed.

Occasional Saturday shifts (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) upon request.

Required to work at least four days per week in the Pretoria office.

At least one late shift per week (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Experience
