Description:
Hire Resolve's client is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for two companies. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and the ability to learn quickly. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records. This is a flexible, part-time position (16–20 hours per week) with remote working options; however, the candidate must be based permanently in Cape Town for in-person training in the city center.
Responsibilities:

Maintain financial records for UK and US entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

Enter financial transactions with speed and precision.

Assist in refining and implementing efficient bookkeeping workflows.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for financial queries.

Support financial reporting processes and ensure timely data availability.

Work with the Finance Director to ensure financial integrity across both entities.
Requirements:

Strong bookkeeping experience, preferably in both UK and US financial systems.

Familiarity with relevant accounting software is advantageous but not essential.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.

Strong organizational and data entry skills.

Excellent memory and ability to maintain consistency in financial records.

Confident communicator with a professional approach to internal and external interactions.

Based permanently in Cape Town and available for in-person training.

A strong work ethic with an understanding that accuracy and precision are non-negotiable.

Ability to work independently while following structured bookkeeping procedures.
