Our client, a leader in their field of manufacturing and design, are requiring a Financial Manager to head up their finance team and manage their finance portfolio. This position is based in Epping, and it is essential they engage an individual who is experienced working on SAGE EVOLUTION and understands the system to assist in all areas where required in various divisions. REQUIREMENTS- Matric with relevant qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Financial Manager role
- Proficient and highly knowledgeable with the system Sage Evolution
- Strong understanding of tax compliance and financial management
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of financial functions
- Strong problem-solving, staff management and analytical skills
DUTIES
- Full Financial Management and managing four staff members in the department
- Management Accountants
- Liaising with Auditors
- Assisting with all information for Financial Audits
- Formulating of financial reports – monthly, quarterly and annual reports for management
- Consolidation of financial statements
- Forecasts and Budgeting
- Manage cash flow
- General Ledger
- Continually overseeing processes for improvement
- Oversee payroll for weekly and monthly staff including all compliance
- Initiate improvements that will improve systems
- Main contact for ERP system Sage Evolution where company uses system for workflow and financial areas
- Consolidation of all areas required within the financial sector
- Manage all statutory requirements for SARS
- Ensure all compliance is updated
- Handle administrative financial tasks, including banking, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
