Description:
- Manage the preparation of group financial budgets through input from each department head, combined with sales, recruitment, and expense forecasts
- Evaluate performance against budget and make recommendations for corrective action
- Manage and update the monthly expenditure forecast.
- Collaborating with Sales & Customer Success teams to manage and update the monthly revenue forecast.
- Manage the cash flow forecast, to ensure up-to-date visibility of cash constraints and other impending risks.
- Balance supplier payments with cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee Invoicing and ensure correct capturing of data
- Oversee the debt collection process and assist where necessary
- Oversee supplier payments and ensure suppliers are paid timeously
- Negotiate with suppliers for improved payment terms or payment plans where necessary.
- Design, and manage monthly management accounts
- Manage the preparation of other recurring or ad-hoc reports, recons, etc as required by the business
- Ensuring that financial record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and other relevant regulatory agencies
- Overseeing the annual external auditing process to ensure that the audit is completed within 6 months of year-end.
- Ensuring that all inter-company transactions are, where necessary, conducted at arm’s length, and are (where necessary) approved by SARB
- Review and oversee the submission of Income Tax returns
- Lead and mentor the Finance team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high performance.
- Set strategic goals for the Finance function, aligning with broader business objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing guidance for professional development.

- Degree with completed articles required
- Good understanding of South African Taxation, IFRS/IFRS for SME's.
- General understanding of Netherlands taxation and accounting.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting practices.
