Description:
To supervise all warehouse functions including receiving, put away, inventory and dispatch. This also includes maintaining and organizing the facility according to the Quality and Health and Safety Standards set out by the company and liaising/coordinating with the customer.
- Oversee daily Inbounds of your team
- Check all GRV’s processed for the day and ensure within KPI as provided to you on email or as below
- All container receipts
- Airfreight/ Individual Pallet Receipts
- Extensions to the above require management approval.
- Report daily Receipts to client and manager
- Ensure daily reporting of cold room and main facility temperature control
- Oversee daily Outbounds of your team
- Visual Management through BluYonde/ BI Tool
- Investigate delayed order pickings
- Ensure all deliveries under Logistics are within the delivery time frame
- The vehicle is clean, the correct size and loaded in compliance
- Communicate any delays with clients
- Manage and monitor staff performance daily and report to manager
Minimum requirements:
- Matric
