Description:
Seeking an experienced National Procurement Manager for a 3-month temp role, with potential for permanency. Immediate/ASAP start required. Key Responsibilities:- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to policies, mitigate risks, and support audits.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with operations, finance, and legal teams to align procurement with business goals.
- Performance & Improvement: Track procurement KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and leverage data analytics.
- Team Leadership: Set KPIs, mentor staff, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Special Projects: Assist with ad hoc business analysis.
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and best practices.
- Supplier Management: Identify, onboard, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and B-BBEE compliance.
- Operations & Process: Oversee procurement processes, optimize workflows, and drive automation.
- Cost & Budgeting: Manage budgets, implement cost-saving initiatives, and negotiate competitive contracts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (NQF Level 7).
- 7–10 years in senior procurement, and 5–10 years in management.
- Experience in international logistics (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Shipshape, Cargowise, SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
- Strong process improvement and internal control focus
