Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the financial reporting for the hospitality division, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for hospitality operations. Monitor cash flow, manage financial transactions, and ensure proper cost control measures are in place. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies specific to the hospitality industry. Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making. Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and optimize operational efficiency. Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance. Work closely with operational managers to identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve profitability. Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or controlling roles, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance as they relate to hospitality. Proven experience in preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and conducting financial analysis. Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Excel) and ERP systems. Strong understanding of hospitality financial operations, including cost control, revenue management, and financial forecasting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a finance team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
