Duties:
Manage the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with IFRS 17 standards. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with all relevant regulations. Take ownership of the implementation of IFRS 17 across financial systems and processes. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the companys financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior management. Work closely with the actuarial and insurance teams to ensure proper financial treatment of insurance contracts.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
CA(SA) qualification is a must. Proven experience with IFRS 17 in an insurance or financial services context.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, with a strong focus on compliance, reporting, and financial strategy.
