An industry-leading financial services provider is looking for an experienced Senior IT Developer to join their dynamic team in Sandton. This role is ideal for a seasoned developer passionate about creating robust software solutions, maintaining high-performing SQL Server databases, and developing sophisticated Blazor Server components.
Experience with Blazor Server is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cutting-edge software programs and services. Develop and maintain SQL Server database tables, functions, and stored procedures. Conduct comprehensive unit testing on new software modules and services. Identify opportunities for improvement in existing systems, recommending and implementing effective modifications. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers. Innovatively develop Blazor Server components to enhance user experience and backend functionality.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. Minimum of 7 years' experience in IT Development (essential). At least 3 years’ extensive experience with C#, Visual Studio, .NET, and Blazor Server (essential). Solid experience with Bootstrap, Web API, MVC, .NET 4.5, .NET Core, EF Core, and WCF (essential). Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2017, SQL queries, and stored procedures. Good understanding of design principles, including SOLID and GoF patterns. Previous experience in the financial services industry is highly advantageous. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CRM systems, SharePoint, and SSIS development is beneficial.
