Description:

The Faircape Group constitutes a group of companies with interests in a number of activities including Healthcare, Retirement Holdings, Telecommunications, and an ISP, Utility Management and infrastructure installation, Property Management, and related activities.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Administrator to join our team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for assisting our Healthcare, Retirement Holdings, and Property Management as well as leasing units with any and all maintenance queries and ensuring that all work activities are recorded on the various internal systems.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintenance Administrator:

  • Processing of all logged maintenance & service queries
  • Arranging and obtaining approval on quotes and then arranging for contractors to go to the site
  • Corresponding with relevant individuals in regard to contractors coming for site inspections
  • Management of all cases and escalating those that are not resolved
  • Daily follow-up regarding quotes, queries, and status of jobs issues and updating the various cases on the relative management systems.
  • Keeping all administration up to date
  • Responding to all email queries within a timeously manner
  • Updating of asset register program, including uploading of new items as and when required
  • Attending to emergency cases as quick as possible

Qualifications:

  • Senior Certificate, relevant tertiary qualification advantageous

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in a similar role would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling principles and process related to maintenance practices
  • Experience in Google Drive, docs, sheets advantageous

  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency Computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

We offer Barista produced coffee available all day to all our staff at Claremont.

Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45 minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 07h00 and 18h00.

With centrally located and modern offices just across from Cavendish in Claremont, Faircape offers a market-related salary. The salary will be dependent on experience, qualifications, skills and attributes.
