Our client, a distinguished organisation within the Telecommunications sector, is seeking a Finance and Compliance Accountant to join their team. This role requires a highly skilled financial professional with a strong foundation in IFRS, compliance, taxation, and financial reporting, as well as experience in handling large financial volumes and general ledger management.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Oversee taxation, VAT submissions, and related compliance matters .
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee financial transactions.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
Key Requirements:
- A completed Honours Degree in Accounting .
- Successfully completed SAICA Articles .
- 3-4 years of financial experience within a relevant industry.
- Prior audit exposure in ICT or Telecommunications is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to financial accuracy and compliance.
