A well-established logistics company in Cape Town is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and coordinate fleet, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Implement and maintain inventory control and stock management systems.
- Collaborate with clients and suppliers to maintain strong business relationships.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in logistics, transport, or supply chain operations.
- Education: Relevant diploma/degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of fleet management, warehousing, and distribution.
- License: Valid driver’s license and own transport.
