Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, mechanical and electrical systems, and building infrastructure. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage budgets and work within financial constraints. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools. Proficiency in Excel. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies. Knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations. About:
This position is hands-on and not just a managing role. Experience in drawing, overall building maintenance, and plumbing, as well as being keen to construct and build around one's ideas, will be advantageous. This position is not restricted to a certain age. If you are of older stature and have loads of experience in the industry, you will be highly considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all equipment and facilities. Oversee general building repairs, plumbing, and electrical maintenance. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues; coordinate repairs and maintenance to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining quality standards. Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and procuring necessary parts. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct regular inspections and audits. Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports; analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
