Job Title: Aluminium TIG Welder

Job Summary:
The TIG Welder will be responsible for producing clean, high-strength welds in a variety of manufacturing settings, while maintaining a high level of safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
TIG Welding: Perform TIG welding on aluminium materials to produce high-precision, clean, and strong welds in accordance with project specifications and blueprints. Blueprint and Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine the welding process, materials, and specific weld placement. Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and consistency, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer specifications. Make any necessary adjustments for optimal results. Weld Preparation: Prepare aluminium parts for welding by cleaning, bevelling, and aligning materials, ensuring proper fit-up and reducing the risk of defects. Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain TIG welding equipment, ensuring proper care and upkeep. This includes replacing consumables, cleaning torches, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2years of experience as a TIG welder, with a strong focus on aluminium welding. Technical Skills: Proficient in TIG welding techniques, including aluminium welding, torch control, and welding of thin-walled materials. Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail required to ensure strong and clean welds. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various physical positions (e.g., standing, bending) Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of welding safety standards, including the safe handling of welding gases, equipment, and PPE. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address any issues that arise during the welding process.Education:
