Duties:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Ensure the accuracy of general ledger entries, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide detailed variance analysis on actuals versus budget and report findings to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, helping management understand key financial metrics and performance trends.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles with a recognized degree in accounting or finance.
Experience:
- At least 3–5 years of experience as an accountant, with hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of manufacturing cost structures, inventory, and cost accounting principles.
