This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that every guest receives the exceptional service and attention to detail expected of a luxury establishment.As the face of the hotel during your shift, you will lead with confidence, act with integrity, and inspire excellence in your team.   • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring all departments function seamlessly and efficiently
  • Act as the senior leader on duty, representing hotel management and handling all operational decisions during assigned shifts
  • Ensure that guests are welcomed warmly, attended to promptly, and that their expectations are exceeded at every stage of their stay
  • Respond professionally to guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery situations, resolving issues with discretion and urgency
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, food & beverage, concierge, and maintenance to uphold the highest standards across the property
  • Supervise and mentor junior managers and staff, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork
  • Conduct detailed handovers and communicate operational updates with senior management and department heads
  • Monitor health and safety, guest security, and emergency procedures during shifts
  • Uphold and reinforce all brand standards, service protocols, and quality assurance initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience as a Duty Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment
  • Strong operational understanding of luxury hospitality, guest engagement, and service delivery
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Professional and polished communication, both verbal and written
  • Well-groomed, confident, and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Protel) and basic financial reporting is advantageous
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and assist during peak seasons
  • Hospitality qualification or diploma preferred
