Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of their company. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing key financial insights to the senior management team. This position plays a vital role in budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or controlling roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports and managing budgets.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Excel) and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
