A vacancy exists for a Sales System Owner within Kazang – Micro Merchant Division , Commercial , in Century City, Cape Town .
The Sales Systems Owner will be responsible for the maintenance, and optimization of the company's sales technology stack, including CRM platforms and related tools. This role supports the sales team by ensuring the systems are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
System Administration & Support
- Manage, and maintain the systems and other sales tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency within the system.
- Handle user management, including role permissions, access control, and onboarding new users.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for sales system support.
Process & Workflow Optimization
- Work closely with the sales teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain workflow rules to streamline sales operations.
Reporting & Analytics
- Assist in monitoring KPIs and sales metrics, ensuring accurate data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and address data inconsistencies and gaps to improve reporting accuracy.
User Training & Documentation
- Provide user support for sales teams to ensure system adoption.
- Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and best practice guidelines.
- Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting.
Integration & Collaboration
- Collaborate with sales teams to align systems with business goals.
- Assist in system upgrades, testing, and rollout of new features.
In order to be considered for this position, the following requirements must be met:
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in sales systems administration or sales operations.
- Matric with further tertiary education in Information systems, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of Sales processes.
Proven Experience:
- Project Management platforms, field sales and internal database.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- MS Office Suite.
