Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to join our team, responsible for selling Peleman’s document binding, branding, and presentation solutions. With over 30 years of research, development, and customer feedback, Peleman offers a comprehensive range of systems and accessories for all your printed presentation needs. This role focuses on proactively driving sales within an assigned territory, engaging with both new and existing clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Service existing accounts, secure new orders, and establish new customer accounts by planning and organizing daily activities.
  • Grow and manage your own customer database within the designated area.
  • Identify and solve customer challenges by thinking creatively and providing effective solutions.
  • Keep management informed by submitting weekly work plans and monthly territory analysis reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related goals and targets.
  • Conduct product training sessions for customers to ensure product relevance and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare professional quotations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Plan and execute strategic country trips as needed to support sales goals.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, the following are required:

Education/Experience:
  • 3-5 years of sales experience (No candidates with no experience will be considered).
  • A minimum of Matric is essential.

Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Required Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Excellent verbal communication, spelling, and grammar.
  • Good operational skills in computing (Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet browsers).
  • Ability to collaborate with a team to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Energetic, confident, and a self-starter who works well independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Methodical, organized, and accurate with a focus on precision.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to meet sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Effective territory management and prospecting skills.
  • Confident, presentable, and professional demeanour.
  • In-depth product knowledge and strong presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned area when required.
  • Compulsory: Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
  • A company laptop will be provided.
