Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established guesthouse is seeking a highly skilled hospitality manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of two guest houses, including breakfast service, handling reservations, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing support in all operational areas
Responibilities:
- Oversee construction, fitting and finalisation phases.
- Lead a small team to ensure a high standard of service
- Oversee daily operations: guest relations, housekeeping, breakfast service, maintenance, sales &
- marketing including social media, and staff management.
- Use Nightsbridge software for bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and invoicing.
- Ensure guest rooms meet the highest cleanliness and comfort standards.
- Manage inventory, stock, and report necessary maintenance work.
- Efficiently handle guest complaints and manage online reviews.
- Oversee accounting duties, including daily cash-up, petty cash, and monthly reconciliation.
- Responsible for staff scheduling and efficient rostering, ensuring payroll data is accurately submitted.
- Understand and manage budgets, report monthly on financial performance.
- Motivate and maintain staff relations, including scheduling duties and providing ongoing training.
- Collaborate with owners to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
Requirements:
- Hospitality Diploma/Degree
- Matric with above average pass
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email, social media and Nightsbridge.
