A well established organisation that specialises in electronic equipment in the mining industry within the Pretoria area has a vacancy for a Marketing Co-ordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting key sales, marketing and project objectives. The role involves general adminstration support for the marketing department, digital marketing, SEO optimization, social media management and event co-ordination. The candidate will be responsible for the following duties.
Maintaining Promotional material.
Website development.
Participate in sales and marketing meetings.
Assist with graphic design functions and co-ordinate with designers, printers and other suppliers.
Manage company new letters and marketing-related communication.
Represent the company at corporate events, trade shows and marketing conferences.
Implement and administer marketing and advertising campaigns.
Draft and execute marketing material (adverts, editorials and brochures).
Manage and oversee social media accounts ie LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
Book media placements.
Write press releases.
Compile reports.
Manage and administer the company website.
Manage Demo equipment and ensure quality control.
Oversee the shipping process of international goods.
Conduct on-page, off-page and technical SEO optimization to improve search rankings.
Track and report SEO performance metrics using Google consol, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Ads.
On-Line marketing ie Instagram/Facebook.
Monitor the backend of the Website.
Requirements:
Matric.
Relevant qualification.
Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing and SEO.
Experience with Google ads, Google analytics and SEO tools.
Familiar with website management and content marketing.
Website design would be an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and basic graphic design software.
Previous industry experience would be an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive marketing strategies forward.
