Description:
Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, machinery, and systems. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential issues before they cause downtime. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards. Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records of repairs and equipment performance. Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption to business activities. Qualifications and Experience:
Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification. Trade certification (e.g., Millwright, Electrician, or similar) is essential. Must be able to do plumbing, electrical and handyman Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry Strong knowledge of machinery, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automation. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills:
Experience with PLCs and automation systems. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
